Enviro Hydrostatic 1 was specified for early works at the Westmead Hospital Redevelopment in Westmead, NSW—a 14-level facility designed by HDR Rice Daubney. Installed to the lift pits, Hydrostatic 1 was selected for its polymer-modified cementitious technology that mixes with water to form a liquid membrane with excellent adhesion to concrete and masonry. The cured film provided a watertight yet vapour-permeable barrier, delivering durable protection in a critical healthcare environment.

Enviro Hydrostatic 1
Enviro Hydrostatic 1 is a flexible polymer modified cementitious membrane based on advanced cross-linking polymer technology. The addition of water to the Hydrostatic 1 powder forms a high-quality, liquid membrane system. Hydrostatic 1 should be applied over concrete, masonry and natural stone substrates. The cured film provides a watertight membrane that is permeable to vapour diffusion and offers excellent freeze-thaw durability, as well as outstanding adhesion properties.
