Nanotechnology
Nanotechnology refers to the scientific field that deals with the research and creation of “smart” or functional material particles, which are very small in size – usually 100 nanometres or smaller. It is so small that if earth was one metre in diameter, then one nanometre would be the size of an apple.
Film-forming products or silicone-based formulations, create a “plastic film of protection”. Nano products waterproof and protect, without changing the appearance of treated surfaces.
The protection offered by the products is not affected by factors such as the “hard” part of solar light (UV radiation) while they do not induce the “yellowing” effect, without altering the appearance.
The microscopic size of the nanoparticles deeply penetrate the surface, repelling water / corrosive agents. Treated Surfaces are not affected by abrasion, deterioration, or mechanical wear.
Envirosystems offers 7 nanotechnology driven formulations under the ‘Enviro SurfaPore’ range. These solutions offer water, stain, and oil repellents for a range of building and textile surfaces.
