Case Study – NEXTDC Artarmon Data Centre

At NEXTDC Artarmon Data Centre, durability, chemical resistance, and operational reliability were critical performance requirements. As a high-security, high-performance data centre environment, floor systems needed to withstand constant service traffic, equipment movement, and stringent maintenance protocols.

Enviro Ultra Tuff was selected as the protective flooring system for designated plant and service areas. Designed as a heavy-duty, high-build epoxy solution, Ultra Tuff delivered excellent abrasion resistance, impact durability, and a seamless finish suitable for demanding operational zones.

The system provided a dense, hard-wearing surface capable of handling trolley movement, plant servicing, and routine cleaning without degradation. Its seamless application reduced joints and potential contamination points, supporting the controlled environment requirements of the facility.

The completed installation delivered a robust, long-term flooring solution aligned with the operational demands of critical digital infrastructure  protecting both the substrate and the ongoing performance of the asset.
