VersiDrain 8 Geo is a studded high flow rated drainage sheet that provides effective drainage and waterproof membrane protection for foundation walls and other underground structures. It incorporates an integrated non-woven geotextile covering the studs that prevents soil particles blocking the drainage sheet. The geotextile creates an air gap for reliable ventilation and allows inflow and transport of water from surrounding soil.
VersiDrain 8 Geo with its vertical stud structure effectively captures and transports high water volumes and resists high loads from earth and formwork. It provides fast and effective installation of surface protection and drains, while the drainage sheets provide effective drainage and waterproof membrane protection on:
- Retaining and basement walls
- Tunnels and landfills
- Paved areas
- Roof gardens and landscaped decks
- Planter boxes
Features
- A horizontal 8 mm high dimple configuration
- Compressive strength of 250 kN/m² (25 t/m²) that permits usage in medium to high weight bearing load situations
- An adhered 136 g/m² geotextile
- Dimpled configuration that allows efficient water capture and discharge rates
- Resistance to biological attack and to a wide range of soil-borne chemicals
Benefits
- Wide, lightweight rolls that allow rapid and low cost installation
- Creation of efficient drainage and vapour barriers between diaphragm and internal walls
- Resistance to punctures for when its installed as a vapour and drainage barrier under concrete slabs
- Replacement of lean concrete sub-base slabs without compromising load-bearing capacity
- Creation of a cavity control layer in chemical storage areas
- Acting as a protection layer over waterproofing membranes
