Case Study – Allianz Stadium Rooftop Waterproofing

On the redevelopment of Allianz Stadium, durability, performance, and construction efficiency were paramount. As one of Australia’s most iconic sporting venues, the project demanded a waterproofing system capable of withstanding long-term environmental exposure, structural movement, and ongoing maintenance access.

Enviro HP1200 was selected as the primary waterproofing membrane due to its seamless, fully bonded polyurea formulation and rapid cure profile. The system allowed complex detailing around penetrations, structural transitions, and service zones while eliminating laps and potential weak points.

To provide long-term UV stability and enhanced surface durability, Enviro 950TC was applied as the protective topcoat. This ensured resistance to weathering, thermal cycling, and surface wear in an exposed extremely high foot traffic environment. The system is also subject to vehicular traffic throughout the concourse and accessable areas.
