Enviro 250 NS is a water-based, protective, UV resistant, non-slip and wear resistant coating designed for external use formulated on a water-based silane crosslinked copolymer system. As a topcoat, it can provide protection of Enviro 200P Ultra and Enviro 500 EXT by improving the wear and UV resistance. It can also be applied directly as a pedestrian trafficable non-slip coating to primed concrete and other surfaces. It dries quickly to form a tough flexible film that has good adhesion properties and is an integral part of the Enviro Light Pedestrian Trafficable System.

Case Study – Royal Perth Hospital Plant Rooms
At Royal Perth Hospital, plant room refurbishment works required a durable, hygienic, and cost-effective surface coating system capable of withstanding ongoing maintenance traffic and operational demands. The brief called for improved surface protection and cleanability without major downtime or disruptive construction works.
Enviro 250NS was selected as an acrylic water-based polyurethane topcoat system to provide a protective, low-odour solution suitable for a live healthcare environment. Its formulation delivered enhanced abrasion resistance, improved surface durability, and a sealed, easy-to-maintain finish over the prepared concrete substrate.
The water-based chemistry allowed safer application in enclosed service areas, minimising fumes and enabling a quicker return to operation. Once cured, the coating provided a resilient surface capable of handling maintenance access, equipment movement, and routine cleaning regimes.
The result was a practical, high-performance upgrade that improved longevity and surface performance while remaining aligned with hospital operational requirements and budget considerations.
